Cloudy skies, bleak landscape, wintry colors make up this most basic of colorways - White base chiffon with varying shades of gray, from light to dark. It has a fun nubby texture with fuzzy raised polka dots throughout. This yummy silk chiffon Ribbon is made in India by women working through Fair Trade. They take what would otherwise be silk waste, from cutting silk for wraps and clothing, and sew the pieces end to end, occasionally tying ends, to make beautiful yarn. Ribbon thickness is mostly on the thinner size from 1/2" - 1". Use them phat or cut them into thinner ribbon as these are SO VERSATILE! Embellish scrapbooks, book covers, scarves, art yarn, luggage or purse straps, even jewelry. Great in weaving, rug making, or plying into your OOAK yarns.
