In early 2022, USPS began imposing length surcharges on packages 22" long and over ($4), and even higher surcharges on packages 30" long and over. So if you're ordering items that long, this is a good opportunity to add other long or short, lightweight items that will ship free. I will refund the shipping charged on the other items since each package only incurs one over-length surcharge.
