A deep and rich Maroon, like a Merlot or Burgundy wine, this is Ashland's wonderful colonial line, some of the softest corriedale I've come across. Almost as soft in hand as merino, it has a longer staple so is much nicer to spin. It is a very high quality Colonial, next to skin soft and excellent for spinning, wet and nuno felting and even needle felting.
