Schacht has "laid off" production of the warping mills until January of '27. We have these on order and will get them shipped out from our standing order, right off the production line for the fastest possible dispatch. We had a dozen or so but have now sold out of our stock. Your order will be addressed just as soon as they are made available again.
Warping Mills are ideal for long warps. Instead of winding back and forth using "elbow grease" to measure thread/yarn on a warping board, the warping mill spins around easily, doing the work for you. It is quicker and less tiring. Schacht warping mills come in two models: the vertical and the horizontal. Made of hard maple, this mill is smoothly sanded and given a Danish oil finish. The horizontal warping mill may be used either on a table or on the floor. It has a two yard circumference, holding up to 20 yards of warp, and folds up nicely for storage, as shown in second picture.
