Customers LOVE their Fireflies!!!!! These Reviews are on these exact wheels with the Corian whorls.
Review: *****"Ideal for using the 32oz bobbin, because on the Mach III, that massive bobbin puts the orifice bar in front too far. But with the Firefly, bobbin size doesn't matter. It has a very smooth and quiet motor and lots of power. It's worth the expense and I feel it is one of the best e-spinners on the market."***** M. A.
Review: *****My wheel arrived yesterday. I had it out of the box and was spinning on it in about fifteen minutes. Great item, great seller with easy communications.***** S & A

The Firefly is Spinolution's electric spinning wheel. This wheel is the equivalent to an electric Monarch, their Cadillac wheel. We combined our state of the art engineering and design with the power of electricity to create this dynamic, multi-purpose spinning wheel. One of the greatest things about this wheel is that you have so many options to choose from, making this a custom - to - you spinner! Your choice of three flyer sizes - 8, 16, or 32 oz - and 1 or 3 bobbins. Check out the options and choose from the drop down box at upper right.
If you already own a Monarch with Head, Flyer, and Bobbins - you can purchase just the Firefly Base and use what you have on your new electric spinner. If you purchase the Firefly as a complete setup (with Head, Flyer & Bobbins), you can purchase just the Mach III Base for the option of treadle spinning, using all your Firefly equipment. The older (Corian) model Fireflies will not be compatible with the new Golden Whorl Monarch flyers though.
WHAT IS A MODULAR WHEEL? Spinolution's 8 oz, 16 oz, and 32 oz setup are interchangeable between the MACH III Base and the Firefly Base. Design your own wheel by choosing your base and setup size, or swap setups between the bases for multiple wheel options!

A word about Spinolution products:
Spinolution products are made plywood, rather than solid wood. For this reason, their wheels will not warp regardless of the climate. SpinOlution prioritizes ergonomics, durability, low maintenance upkeep, and function over aesthetics. There will likely be blemishes or splintered areas on your wheel, which will not affect its functionality. It's common to have a raw edge in the layering of the wood because of the nature of how the wood is manufactured (in different directions as is the nature of plywood - a durability over aesthetic decision that SpinOlution has made). They're may be irregular seams where parts come together - this is the primary manufacturing anomaly. SpinOlution products are not finished using the same finish, machinery, or material as other manufacturers. However, it does not impair the function of the product (it still be assembled and used as advertised) so that is why it passed inspection at the Spinolution facility. It's up to the customer to decide what matters most to them when they are investing in a wheel. And there's no wrong answer. Should you decide to return your wheel within the 30 day period to get a refund, you will pay to ship the product back to Spinolution and you will be refunded all but what they product cost to ship to you.
As Spinolution's owner/designer is always changing the appearance of his wheels, they often do not exactly resemble the design/pattern pictured.
