Similar in tone to Mosswood, Rainforest has the same colors in a much lighter application. This dyelot is a perky blend of spring colors, without a flowery look. It is definitely on the earthy side, using various shades of green, gold, rust and a bit of royal blue, lending itself to a teal when blending with the greens. One may have more green, another more gold, or one may be darker overall than another. If you have a preference, let me know when you purchase and I'll make sure to pull that for you. Available in larger and smaller quantities as well, though smaller sections such as a one or two ounce listing may not have the full range of colors seen in the larger portions. Made from heritage longwool breeds, this roving has a nice hand as well as staple length.

Note to nuno felters: Superwash wool does not wet felt by itself. I love using the deep and rich colors of superwash in my nuno felting and I layer regular wool under and a very light layer of regular dyed wool over the top, just enough to tack down the superwash, but sheer enough not to obscure the wonderful colors
