These lightweight and portable birch looms are made of 1/8" birch wood, and measure approximately 8" x 2 3/4" with a weaving space of 7" x 2 3/8". The finished woven bracelet size can be a max of 7" x 2 3/8". These dimensions should accommodate most wrist sizes but the length may be extended with the use of jewelry findings such as additional jump rings or a chain. The looms are available in a gauge/sett of 10.0 ends per inch (e.p.i.) and 12.0 e.p.i. These two setts make it ideal to work with a finer weight yarn or luxurious threads. To work with a bulkier weight yarn, the user may warp every other prong for a sett of 5.0 ends per inch (e.p.i.) or 6.0 e.p.i. 2) Bracelet Loom Compact Package for $39 ( 2nd photo) is ideal for users who have lots of jewelry making stash and clips already and this package includes:

Additional Tools & Materials Required:
jewelry pliers (we used flat-nose, round-nose and bent-nose), scissors, yarn and/or thread. Glue may be needed to secure ribbon crimp ends to bracelet fabric - tape may be used in place of clips to secure warp threads.
BEAUTIFUL FINDINGS FOR YOUR WOVEN BRACELETS: Purl & Loom Bracelet Findings in four different wood types as well as metals: Purl & Loop makes these little wood bracelet findings because of the really chic look created by folding through the bracket and sewing the ends. These findings are laser cut on wood purchased from a U.S. supplier. The wooden findings have no varnish or protective coating so they are ready for any stain or paint.
WOODEN FINDINGS: The wooden finding is approximately 1 5/16” wide, ¾” tall and 1/8” thick. The opening is 1” wide. They are currently available in maple, alder, walnut and birch. These are offered in a package of six (3 bracelets) and come with a tiny cotton bag. If you would like to mix and match wood types, I am happy to do so; just include a note with your order. Please know that since these are made of wood, there will be some variations. There are also some subtle heat marks from the laser cutting process.
METAL FINDINGS: These metal findings are available in Silver Plate or Gunmetal finish. You'll now have bracelet finding hardware so you can continue making bracelets to your heart's content. Each metal findings package has findings for 3 bracelets and consists of:
6 jump rings
6 1" ribbon crimp ends
3 lobster clasps
Check out the three sample bracelets in photo number3. The bracelet on the bottom right is made with a variety of fine wool threads and sock weight yarn. The top left is mostly all silks and we warped only about 40% of the loom width for this size. The middle is an example of chunkier and looser yarn. It is too loose for the ribbon clamp to hold on securely. We found that the closer and tighter we beat down our weft threads, the better the ribbon clamp was secured.
