Much like a clear night's sky, Ultraviolet is a super deep purple, reflecting light like stars.
Angelina is a unique fiber that is both light reflective and light refractive. A fantastic embellishment fiber, adding depth, dimension, visible "texture" as well as bling. You'll frequently see it mixed in with yarn, felting, art batts and the like. For spinning or making art batts (or roulags), just a few fibers do a lot! Blended with other fibres in amounts as small as 2%, it gives sparkle and highlight to your projects, whether it's yarn, batts or felt. You can just "add a tad" while spinning singles or sprinkle a bit into your carder or blending board to liven up any color mix. To felt, simply lay it on top of your project or between your wool and the wool will tack it down. If layering between the wool, you'll want just a thin over-layer of wool so that you don't hide the wonderful sparkle and brightness of the Angelina. This is excellent for when you want to add bling without a lot of color. My camera doesn't pick up the subdued accents in this beautiful fiber and makes it look too one dimensional. It has a lot of gloss to it. The color in the first two pictures is correct but doesn't show the shine.

Crimped Cut Angelina is more reflective/refractive than the straight cut, because of the crinkles. It does not have the silky feel of the straight cut Angelina though, so not as suitable for spinning or in "next to skin" products. Use the straight cut (listed separately) for those things.
