Orchid is a custom color and I have to admit it's MUCH more brilliant than I expected. Just as Silver Alpha Hologram ireflects and refracts SO MANY shades, Orchid is a base color between Peony and Fuchsia but reflects hot pink, lilac, aqua and blue. The colors in this will knock your socks off! Unfortunately my camera can't pick up all the colors and brilliance but the pics show quite a bit. Angelina is a very unique fiber, both light reflective and light refractive. A fun and fantastic embellishment fiber, adding depth, dimension, visible "texture" as well as bling. You'll frequently see it mixed in with yarn, felting, art batts and the like. For spinning or making art batts (or roulags), just a few fibers do a lot! Blended with other fibers in amounts as small as 2%, it gives sparkle and highlight to your projects, whether it's yarn, batts or felt. You can just "add a tad" while spinning singles or sprinkle a bit into your carder or blending board to liven up any color mix. To felt, simply lay it on top of your project or between your wool and the wool will tack it down. If layering between the wool, you'll want just a thin over-layer of wool so that you don't hide the wonderful sparkle and brightness of the Angelina. First two pictures are best for color. My camera doesn't pick up the subdued accents in this beautiful fiber and makes it look too one dimensional. Raspberry Sparkle is straight cut.
I will have many other colors listed (just a few pictured in the last two photos), as well as a few collections, where you can acquire a nice selection of colors in small portions, all in the same listing. These collections are of .1 oz each color, .25 oz of each color, or .5 oz of each color. I also have collections of just basic Angelina colors (only one pink, one red, one green, etc...) These collections comprise 5 (your choice), 15, 30, 50, 75, 85 or more colors (I'm getting more in all the time and having custom colors made). Just search Angelina in my shop for all options.
