Chartreuse is lemon-lime color, much like the color of Mountain Dew soda. I photographed Chartreuse next to a myriad of green plants for comparison. The third photo is taken under flash and is too yellow, but picks up the reflective highlights nicely. I am not just a retailer for Angelina, but a wholesaler too, so I have the lowest prices. For international orders of the half pound, please convo me for shipping quote.
Angelina is a very unique fiber, both light reflective and light refractive. A fun and fantastic embellishment fiber, adding depth, dimension, visible "texture" as well as bling. You'll frequently see it mixed in with yarn, felting, art batts and the like. For spinning or making art batts (or roulags), just a few fibers do a lot! Blended with other fibres in amounts as small as 2%, it gives sparkle and highlight to your projects, whether it's yarn, batts or felt. You can just "add a tad" while spinning singles or sprinkle a bit into your carder or blending board to liven up any color mix. To felt, simply lay it on top of your project or between your wool and the wool will tack it down. If layering between the wool, you'll want just a thin over-layer of wool so that you don't hide the wonderful sparkle and brightness of the Angelina. My camera doesn't pick up the subdued accents in this beautiful fiber and makes it look too one dimensional. First picture is best.
I will have many other colors listed (just a small sampling pictured in the last photo), as well as a few collections, where you can acquire a nice selection of colors in small portions, all in the same listing. These collections contain either 5 (You choose the colors), 15, 30, 50, 75 or 85 or more colors in one.
