Drop spindles are an easy and inexpensive way to introduce yourself to spinning. This is a great class spindle as they much less costly than really fancy spindles yet actually nicely finished, classy spindles. A notch in the whorl helps keep your spun yarn in place. Spindle is approximately 12" in length overall and the whorl is 3" across, weighing about 3 oz. Smooth sanded, available in unfinished and beautifully finished in clear, walnut and mahogany.
