EXTRA WIDE Smokey Blush Dusty Pinks Multi Recycled Sari Silk Ribbon

NOTE: If you don't have a tape measure or are not sure how long 5 yards is, it's the equivalent of 5 large strides/steps in length.

This is an extra wide Blush colored Tie Dye ribbon, a combination of smokey, subtle pinks that are muted for a lovely look. These ribbons are 2 1/2" or so wide. These new tie dye ribbons are truly breathtaking. This color way is loaded with subtle and beautiful hues in blush, dusty rose, an almost pink flesh tone - all earthy and not very colorful. There may also be splashes of unexpected color areas here and there, where the dye is a bit deeper or two colors blend together a bit - like a smokey lavender/gray but all light and subtle as well. The majority of these rolls are muted tones that go beautiful together. Photos are taken in various lighting - indoor, outside in sun and shade. Each roll will be unique so they may have more or less of one color, but still a beautiful mix of highly saturated and vivid colors. Probably not color fast, so don't wash with anything else. These stunning rolls can be used in their entire lengths or are great for projects where you need smaller lengths of LOTS of colors. Just cut up a foot of this one, 8 inches of that one,....

The number and variety of color shades found in a full roll will NOT be found in the smaller, 5 or 10 yard portions because the colors run about a yard long or even two at a time and there can be duplicates of colors, which don't really matter in a full skein but will limit colors in a smaller portion. These can vary in yardage from roll to roll because the width of the ribbon can range from 2 1/4" to 2 1/2". A full roll is approximately 35 - 40 yards. The pictures show all the possible colors combinations.

Sari Silk Ribbon is made in India by women working through Fair Trade. They take what would otherwise be silk waste, from cutting sari silk for wraps and clothing, and sew the pieces end to end, occasionally tying ends, to make beautiful yarn. In these colorways there are Greens (both bright and earthy), Reds (bright and earthy), Purples, Teals, and Golds, Rust, Rich Browns, as well as a few light pastels. Some sections will have patterns. Some of these ribbons are 3/4" - 1" but some measure as much as 4+ inches across, with a few having lacy, fringed, or frayed edges for uniqueness. Every skein is absolutely unique. Use them phat or strip them into thinner ribbon. Embellish scrapbooks, book covers, scarves, art yarn, luggage or purse straps, even jewelry. Great in weaving, rug or wreath making, or plying into your OOAK yarns. If you prefer bolder, earthier, more floral colors, or any other preference such as more golds, reds, etc..., just include a note in the "instructions to merchant" section of your order. There will most likely be NO 5 or 10 yard sections containing 1 exact color you like, so to be safe, stay with general shades like "earthy" or "bright", etc... Or just tell me a color you don't like and I will try and avoid a portion with that in it. Patterns are usually not bright, but enormously varied. These skeins are all one of a kind and as such, have a great deal of variety in both colors and shading. With the ribbon being so wide, there is a lot of silk material to a yard, much more than the thinner ribbon colors. In the smaller sections, such as the  5 or 10 yard pieces, there will not be as many colors represented or as much variance in thickness.
