Soft and drapey, this light pastel ribbon has a light luster and is just such a delicate color. JUST FULL of light pink tones, this is a light and cheery ribbon. You'll find creamy pink, a light pastel pink and a few other even lightly variegated pinks, all very light in tone.
Sari Silk Ribbon is made in India by women working through Fair Trade. They take what would otherwise be silk waste, from cutting sari silk for wraps and clothing, and sew the pieces end to end, occasionally tying ends, to make beautiful ribbon yarn. Some edges are frayed or lacy, adding physical as well as visual texture. Most of these ribbons measure 3/4" to about 1" wide, with a few being a tad over an inch. Many have lacy, fringed, or frayed edges for uniqueness. Embellish scrapbooks, book covers, scarves, art yarn, luggage, wreaths or purse straps, even jewelry. Great in weaving, rug making, or plying into your OOAK yarns.
Listing is for five or 10 yards or a full skein. Skein yardage varies according to width of ribbon (I buy this by weight rather than yardage). Skeins average 45 - 55 yards or more.
