CLASSIC WOOL CARDERS have a comfortable, rounded handle and are available in two gauges of carding cloth: 72 points per square inch (an all-purpose carding cloth), 108 points per square inch (great for cotton, fine wool and downy fibers). Measure 8" wide X 4 1/2" high on the paddle. From top of paddle to bottom tip of handle measures 9 1/2". Sold in pairs
STUDENT CARDERS have a flat handle and are 72 TPI for typical wool/fiber. Excellent for classes or for an economically priced carder at a great value. Sold in pairs.
SMALL CARDERS are smaller, lightweight carders with comfortable round handle - 72 TPI. Sold in pairs. Measure approximately 7 1/4" X 3 1/4".
COTTON CARDERS are designed specifically for cotton and extra fine luxury fibres our new hand carders are lightweight and easy to use. Suitable for Cotton, Cashmere, Angora and other super fine fibres. Large carder cloth measures 10 1/2" X 3 1/2". Carders have turned ergonomic round handles for comfortable grip and use.
FLICK CARDER: One of the first tools used in preparing raw fleece. Excellent for coming out locks. Save time carding your fleeces by first using this tool to detangle the locks, remove VM and bits of 2nds left in after shearing. It is also a good cleaner for your drum carders. Sold singly.
BLENDING BRUSH: This is the very brush that Ashford includes in their blending boards. Beautifully finished, its turned wooden handle is comfortable to use, measuring 7 1/2" end to end (including handle) and the paddle measures 2 1/2" tall by 4 1/4" wide..
