Great for the outdoor enthusiast, these will be appreciated by skiers, hunters, snowboarders and anyone who spends time outside during cold weather. Just stick them inside boots to help keep your feet and toes toasty warm and to add comfy cushioning. Alpaca is naturally moisture wicking, hypo-allergenic, bacteria and fungus resistant while being the most environmentally friendly livestock known.
These insoles are 100% alpaca. Alpaca is super warm, some 5 times warmer than Cashmere and other wools. These can be used as a base for your felted slippers, adding thickness, cushion and warmth to your project. Though they are not outer ware themselves, and you would want to attach a rubber sole to the bottom to prevent slipping. If you'd like more than one just let me know and I'll reserved a listing for you for as many as you like.
These insoles are hand cut from felt sheets made from our alpaca fiber. All are made from undyed natural colored fiber. They average 1/4" thick.
MEDIUM (measuring approx 10" long, 4" across the ball of the foot and 3 1/4" across the heel)
LARGE (measuring approx 11" long, 4" across ball of foot and 3.25" across heel)
X-LARGE (measuring 12" - 12.25" long, 4.5" across ball of foot and 3.75" across heel)
For children you can buy a small size and trim it down for 1or even 2 small children
These may vary slightly in thickness and measurement. In between sizes (or unsure) buy the larger and trim to fit. This year they are all dark colors. Every year the colors vary, according to what color crias were born, and the color of my herd in general. So not all colors pictured are available every year. There may also be others and occasionally I even blend colors if I'm running low on sheets to cut them from, since they live in shoes and are rarely seen:)
