A very high quality viscose top from Ashland Bay named Agean. Bamboo/viscose top is a highly versatile and renewable resource processed in eco friendly ways.
Super soft and silky, this fine fiber is great for working into your spinning and felting projects. I especially love bamboo in nuno felting. While it doesn't felt by itself I "tack it down" with a sheer layer of fiber on my scarves and accessories. It creates such a shine and literally glows with it's colors. When used in nuno felting it naturally zig zags, like a drawn lightening bolt - really neat.
The pictures are taken outside in sunlight first and indoors under flash. Picture of the nuno scarf has accents of bamboo in blue in it. The gloss and wonderful color are easily seen. Last picture is off the Expanded Bamboo Collection in which you get .25 oz each of nine colors for well over two ounces total of great bamboo colors.
