In 2022 USPS began imposing a length surcharge on packages 22" and over ($4) and 30" and over ($15!), so those surcharges are built into the price of the pick up sticks. It's a good time to get a pair instead of just one, or other lightweight, long items (or even small items) as they won't add significantly to the ship cost since a surcharge is only applied once to a package.
