This is THE SOFTEST CRIMP CUT ANGELINA made. Excellent for next to skin yarn or felted items because there is no scratchiness to this at all. Top choice of fly fishermen for tying flies. Crimped Cut Angelina is more reflective/refractive than the straight cut, because of the crinkles. Angelina always goes a long way but because of it's fineness, this particular type goes even farther! Choose portion size from the drop-down box. (I also offer a 1/10 oz sample size for $2.65 - it is a generous amount and will go a long way because of its fineness), Quarter Ounce, Half Ounce, Full Ounce, Quarter Pound or Half Pound. The Aurora Crystalina is a white base which reflects pinks, golds, greens and blues. Silver and Gold are highly reflective also but don't reflect colors other than their own.
Angelina is a very unique fiber, both light reflective and light refractive. A fun and fantastic embellishment fiber, adding depth, dimension, visible "texture" as well as bling. You'll frequently see it mixed in with yarn, felting, art batts and the like. For spinning or making art batts (or roulags), just a few fibers do a lot! You can just "add a tad" while spinning singles or sprinkle a bit into your carder or blending board to liven up any color mix. To felt, simply lay it on top of your project or between your wool and the wool will tack it down. If layering between the wool, you'll want just a thin over-layer of wool so that you don't hide the wonderful sparkle and brightness of the Angelina. My camera doesn't pick up the subdued accents in this beautiful fiber and makes it look too one dimensional.
