Wonderfully Vivid Royal color in #1 quality longwool top of merino and heritage breed longwool. This is a lovely and vibrant royal - not quite true to blue or violet, but somewhere in between and a really nice and original color. Shown outside in natural (on snow in sun) light and deep shade, as well as indoors under flash. Wonderful handle, brightness and depth of color! Great for spinning, plying and needle felting.

Note to nuno felters: Superwash fiber does not wet felt by itself and has to have at least some regular wool fibers felted with it to "tack it down". I love the vibrant colors of the superwash and in my nuno felting I layer a bit of regular wool on the silk, then my superwash with a small, sheer bit of regular wool as my top layer to felt it in.
