I typically have these wheels in stock for immediate Priority Shipping or UPS with Insurance so you'll have your wheel in a matter of days. Accessories purchased at the time of your wheel purchase will also ship free. Newest Models are ready to ship also and priced individually in the drop-down box at upper right.

The Queen Bee: The Queen Bee was SpinOlution’s first folding wheel design, originally named the “Bee” and engineered to fold and fit into carry-on luggage* for spinners on the go who needed a portable wheel designed for spinning fine yarns.

With a built-in lazy kate and three bobbins, the Queen Bee has everything the distinguished fine spinner needs in an all-in-one portable spinning wheel.

With some of the fastest ratios that SpinOlution wheels provide, and lightweight 4 oz bobbins, the Queen Bee is designed specifically for fine spinning and short staple length fibers. Knitters, crocheters, and weavers of fine cloth love this wheel for spinning extra fine yarns to use in their handcrafted textiles.

*Airline requirements for carry-on luggage size requirements continue to vary. Before taking a Bee on your flight, confirm that the carry on bag you are using to transport your Queen Bee meets your airline’s requirements.

Only uses 4 oz bobbins

The King Bee: We designed the King Bee after spinners around the world requested a larger bobbin size than what the Queen Bee provided - and it became one of the most popular mid-range wheel models in our product line.

With bobbins just the right size for chunky yarns and smaller skeins of embellished art yarns, and plenty adequate for skeins of worsted and finer yarns - the King Bee is the perfect wheel choice for the spinner on the go wanting a wheel that can do it all except the crazy stuff.

The King Bee folds into a convenient size to fit into most carry-on luggage*. It also comes ready to spin right out of the box. With an on-board lazy kate that holds three bobbins and all the ratios you need to spin yarns from superfine to chunky - this wheel is a classic that will never go out of style.

*Airline requirements for carry-on luggage size requirements continue to vary. Before taking a King Bee on your flight, confirm that the carry on bag you are using to transport your King Bee meets your airline’s requirements.

Only uses 8 oz bobbins

The Worker Bee: The Worker Bee was debut after spinners requested a fold-able Bee style wheel with an even larger bobbin. The Worker Bee has bonus versatility, because it can fit 16 oz bobbins as well as 8 oz bobbins on the same flyer.

With an on-board lazy kate that holds two 16 oz bobbins, the Worker Bee is the perfect wheel for the traveling spinner who wants bobbins big enough for big textures, embellishments, spinning locks, art yarns, and huge skeins of yardage.

Comes with 16 oz flyer and 3 16 oz bobbins. 8 oz bobbins can also be used on this flyer. Check out the Amazing Worker Bee's ratios in it's user guide here:

The difference between the Queen Bee, King Bee, and Worker Bee is the ratio range and bobbin size. The Queen Bee holds 4 oz bobbins. The King Bee holds 8 oz bobbins. The Worker Bee holds 16 oz bobbins as well as 8 oz bobbins and can fit in a carry on suitcase for flying around the world. You can spin fine to bulky yarn on any of these bobbins on this hard worker.

The Worker Bee is the perfect wheel for the spinner who needs effortless portability with a wide ratio range. The speeds are adequate for extra fine to bulky spinning - and the bobbin size is large enough for creative textures and embellishments to be included in your spinning.

Since its debut, the Worker Bee has always included  engineering. With Golden Whorl engineering you have 30% less flyer drag, which makes spinning the more challenging short staple fibers a breeze.

As Spinolution's owner/designer is always changing the appearance of his wheels, they often do not exactly resemble the design/pattern pictured.

A word about Spinolution products:

Spinolution products are made plywood, rather than solid wood. For this reason, their wheels will not warp regardless of the climate. SpinOlution prioritizes ergonomics, durability, low maintenance upkeep, and function over aesthetics. There will likely be blemishes or splintered areas on your wheel, which will not affect its functionality. It's common to have a raw edge in the layering of the wood because of the nature of how the wood is manufactured (in different directions as is the nature of plywood - a durability over aesthetic decision that SpinOlution has made). They're may be irregular seams where parts come together - this is the primary manufacturing anomaly. SpinOlution products are not finished using the same finish, machinery, or material as other manufacturers. However, it does not impair the function of the product (it still be assembled and used as advertised) so that is why it passed inspection at the Spinolution facility. It's up to the customer to decide what matters most to them when they are investing in a wheel. And there's no wrong answer. Should you decide to return your wheel within the 30 day period to get a refund, you will pay to ship the product back to Spinolution and you will be refunded all but what they product cost to ship to you.

I typically have these in stock and will ship immediately, fully insured, via Fed Ex.
