The Louët Irish Tension Bulky Bobbin is a jumbo-capacity bobbin designed specifically for bulky yarns, novelty yarns, and art yarn spinning. This oversized bobbin offers significantly more yarn capacity than standard Louët bobbins, making it ideal for thick textured yarns, creative spinning techniques, and high-volume spinning projects. To use the bulky bobbin, you will need the wide flyer.
Bulky bobbins are compatible with the Standard Irish tension flyer, but spinners may find the Bulky and Art flyers a better option for highly textured yarns. Compatible with S95 wheels which have been upgraded with the Victoria Art Yarn Head. The bulky bobbin was designed to hold bulky yarns.
