Extra Fine & Organic Rust Merino Silk DHG Merino

Great fall/autumn hue in a beautifully blended roving of "next to skin" ultrasoft merino from DHG Fiber. The merino is already super soft at only 19 microns and here it is blended with 30% tussah silk for added softness and just a tad of a subtle bling and softness. Subtle medium brown-orange is not in the least overwhelming but beautifully understated and rustic in its presentation. I will also be offering assortments of other color blends alone and in various combinations. Available in smaller or larger quantities as well. Pictured indoors and outdoors in natural light. 

This lovely fiber is created by Dying House Gallery, and their fiber meets Global Organic Standards ane EMAS Standards. DHG purchases their superfine merino from Australian and South American flocks and then processes and dyes it to their rigorous standards, for some of the most amazing quality merino! This lovely fiber meets Global Organic Standards ane EMAS Standards. This fiber presentation is made up of 70% extra fine merino wool from both Australia and South America and 30% tussah silk from China. As always, all the materials are carefully selected to ensure constant quality over time. All merino wool lots are MULESING FREE. The dyeing complies with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and is done in our dyeinghouse which is GOTS 5.0 and GRS certified.
