This is SUPER fine (@ 17.5 microns!) organic merino top, wonderful for spinning, felting, dyeing and any next to skin garments. With an average staple length of 2 - 3", next to skin soft, this merino is excellent for spinning, wet and nuno felting as well as needle felting. Heavenly to the touch, this is the finest Merino and the preparation is supersoft - your skin will love you for it! Merino is the king of the fine wools, sporting a dense fleece with fine tight crimp and a short staple length. It is many spinners go-to choice for next-to-skin wear. Merino is easy to felt and retains its incredible softness in felted objects. Very light ecru color, this is also wonderful for dyeing and hand painting.
