This selection of grays ranges from the lightest gray (Cloud) to the darkest (Carbon), with 7 other shades in between, all in prime merino 64s, 21.5 micron. Some are more vibrant yet others light and earthy enough to bring neutral hues to your projects. Occasionally, I get in a really nice natural gray in a premium grade combed top, like Shetland, Gotland, Masham and others that I will include. Many of these natural grays have multiple shades in them.Approximately .25 ounces in each of nine colors, measuring about 2 feet each, this super soft next-to-skin merino will spin up into a beautiful yarn or felt into a super scarf or hat. Great too for animal colors, hair colors and natural looking needle felted projects!

I know monitors can show colors differently. The first two pictures are in natural light and the third is under flash (though the flash also went off in the deep shade picture.) The last picture is of a wolf made by Louise at petitewonders28 with various grays from this sampler. Because Ashland Bay discontinues colors from time to time And/Or brings in new colors, the exact colors may change but I will always make sure there are fully nine different grays that are perfect for spinning and any kind of felting.
