A very high quality Viscose top in the colorway Gold, as in Gold Jewelry - earthy, yet able to brighten your project with just the right amount of bling. Viscose fibers like bamboo provide ultra-silkiness and luster, like fine silks, at a fraction of the price. Bamboo offers strength and nature's own cooling fabric. The weight for bamboo fiber allows for a beautiful drape in projects. These viscose tops are perfect for both needle and wet felting, spinning and hand weaving. First two pics are most accurate with #2 being from the manufacturer. The last two seem faded out and the color is actually more gold than showing there.
Super soft and silky, this fine, eco friendly and renewable fiber is great for working into your spinning and felting projects. I especially love bamboo in nuno felting. While it doesn't felt by itself I "tack it down" with a sheer layer of fiber on my scarves and accessories. It creates such a shine and literally glows with it's colors. When used in nuno felting it naturally zig zags, like a child-drawn lightening bolt - really neat. The last picture is a great example of how bamboo behaves in wet felting projects.

These viscose tops come from Germany and are carefully selected to ensure constant quality over time. The dyeing complies with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and is done in DHG's dyeinghouse which is GOTS 5.0 and GRS certified.
