Deep yet vivid reds, purples and blues here in Ashland Bay's colonial in the moody colorway Burgundy. Their lovely colonial top has a super hand and a longer staple than merino. This is similar in color to Ashland's Midnight multi merino but has a slightly more magenta cast to it, making it a tad brighter. The first picture is under flash to draw out the reds and purples a bit better. My camera hates purple and makes it look a lot more blue than it is. The blue that is in there is a deeper blue than what is showing. It's not as bright as the first picture but carries SO MANY stunning shades! A very high quality Colonial, this is next to skin soft and excellent for spinning, wet and nuno felting and even needle felting.
