An earthy, or subtle and "dusty" shade of purple, Plum does not have the brightness of some of the more vibrant purples. It can be mixed in a felted project with a cloudy sky or to represent murky water. I think of it as a "grayed out" purple. Next to skin soft, the micron on this merino is 21.5.
