The Flexible Conrod Joint, designed to replace worn or stretched treadle connectors on Ashford wheels made from the mid-1980s through 2012.
This flexible plastic connector links the treadle (foot pedal) to the conrod (connecting rod), transferring foot motion to the flyer drive system. It offers a quieter and more flexible connection than the older leather joints, allowing consistent treadling with less wear on the wood components.
Fits Ashford Traditional, Traveller, and Elizabeth wheels produced during the specified manufacturing period. Not compatible with earlier leather-joined wheels or current models using the updated black polyurethane conrod system.
