Additional Tools & Materials Required: jewelry pliers (we used flat-nose, round-nose and bent-nose), scissors, yarn and/or thread. Glue may be needed to secure ribbon crimp ends to bracelet fabric - tape may be used in place of clips to secure warp threads.
Check out the three sample bracelets in photo number3. The bracelet on the bottom right is made with a variety of fine wool threads and sock weight yarn. The top left is mostly all silks and we warped only about 40% of the loom width for this size. The middle is an example of chunkier and looser yarn. It is too loose for the ribbon clamp to hold on securely. We found that the closer and tighter we beat down our weft threads, the better the ribbon clamp was secured.
