Because this is very popular in spite of it's production costs I am listing it in .1 oz (1/10 oz), .25 oz (1/4 oz), .5 oz (1/2 oz), Full ounce, Quarter Pound, Half Pound and Full Pound portions (fly tying companies buy this in larger quantities as "Lite Brite" for producing their product.)
Much brighter than Silver Iris Angelina or any other silvers, and much more reflective than most Angelina colors. This is an amazing and magical multi-faceted color that is incomparable. I don't even know how they do it. Depending on where you are - dark room, outside in sunlight, shade - and what is blended in with, it reflects countless colors. It is 8 Denier, THE MOST incredibly soft and silky Angelina you have ever seen. Not to be confused with the 15 denier, which is somewhat soft, but nothing like this. You almost can't feel it in your hand! This color is one of the most expensive to produce, so its price is a bit higher. I am a wholesaler of Angelina and will always have the best prices. Choose portion size from the drop-down box. (I also offer a 1/10 oz sample size for $2.69 - it is a generous amount and will go a long way because of its fineness), Quarter Ounce, Half Ounce, Full Ounce, Quarter Pound or Half Pound.
Want it fast? Priority upgrade available for $4.50 at checkout (US only). I ship every day but Sunday so your order will go out immediately.
I have a limited amount of 8" of this colorway. I can only get it by special order once in awhile so get it while it's here:-) Choose from drop down box at upper right.
Angelina is a very unique fiber, both light reflective and light refractive. A fun and fantastic embellishment fiber, adding depth, dimension, visible "texture" as well as bling. You'll frequently see it mixed in with yarn, felting, art batts and the like. For spinning or making art batts (or roulags), just a few fibers do a lot! You can just "add a tad" while spinning singles or sprinkle a bit into your carder or blending board to liven up any color mix. To felt, simply lay it on top of your project or between your wool and the wool will tack it down. If layering between the wool, you'll want just a thin over-layer of wool so that you don't hide the wonderful sparkle and brightness of the Angelina. My camera doesn't pick up the subdued accents in this beautiful fiber and makes it look too one dimensional.
I will have many other colors listed, as well as a few collections (just a few pictured in the last photo), where you can acquire a nice selection of colors in small portions, all in the same listing. These collections will contain from 7 (your choice) to 30 or more colors. I am happy to customize any order.
Crimped Cut Angelina is more reflective/refractive than the straight cut, because of the crinkles. It does not have the silky feel of the straight cut Angelina though, so not as suitable for spinning or in "next to skin" products. Use the straight cut (listed separately) for those things. Collections consist of 5 (your choice), 15, 30, 50, 75, or 85 color count. I am always happy to customize a collection for you.
