Pink Tickle is more pink/salmon than Opal Rose or Dusty Rose but still within the muted Victorian standards. Very little purple to its base color but reflects pink, a tad of fuchsia and lilac. As always, a devil to photograph but really beautiful. In addition to being a retailer I am also an Angelina wholesaler so I will always have the lowest prices! For international orders of the half pound, please convo me for shipping quote.
Angelina is a very unique fiber, both light reflective and light refractive. A fantastic embellishment fiber, adding depth, dimension, visible "texture" as well as bling. You'll frequently see it mixed in with yarn, felting, art batts and the like. For spinning or making art batts (or roulags), just a few fibers do a lot! Blended with other fibres in amounts as small as 2%, it gives sparkle and highlight to your projects, whether it's yarn, batts or felt. You can just "add a tad" while spinning singles or sprinkle a bit into your carder or blending board to liven up any color mix. To felt, simply lay it on top of your project or between your wool and the wool will tack it down. If layering between the wool, you'll want just a thin over-layer of wool so that you don't hide the wonderful sparkle and brightness of the Angelina. The first picture is a bit duller than it actually is. My camera doesn't pick up the subdued accents in this beautiful fiber and makes it look too one dimensional.
I will have many other colors listed (just a sampling pictured in the last two photo), as well as a few collections, where you can acquire a nice selection of colors in small portions, all in the same listing. My collections contain either 5 (You choose colors), 15, 30, 50, 75, 85 or more colors per, and are sized in .1 oz portion, 1/4 oz portion or 1/2 oz portion collections.
