We are currently out of the 4 1/2 yard boards and I have quite a few on order from Schacht, waiting on a ship date. They have been closed for the Covid-19 business restrictions in CO. I do have the 14 yard boards and also the 12 yard Ashford, which are the same price as the Schacht 14 yard.
Schacht warping boards are solid and durable, available in two sizes: The 14 yard warping board measures one yard across and the 4 1/2 yard warping board is a half yard across. Warping Boards are the most commonly used measuring devices. Schacht Warping Boards are sturdy and will hold up to years of use. To withstand the strain of threads under tension, we tenon our hardwood dowels and press them securely into the frame.
Schacht's warping boards are square frames with pegs at specified intervals so that you can make a precise length warp. You may use only part of the frame so that smaller warp lengths can be made. Maximum sizes are noted on boards. This is a Schacht hardwood maple warping board. This tool can easily be disassembled for storage or travel. Choose either 4 1/2 yard or 14 yard board in drop-down box at upper right.
