Warping Boards are one of the most popular weaving tools/accessories. Beka warping boards are solid and durable, typically made of Maple or Beech, are available in two sizes: The 9 yard warping board measures one yard across and the 4 1/2 yard warping board is a half yard across. Warping Boards are the most commonly used measuring devices. Schacht Warping Boards are sturdy and will hold up to years of use. To withstand the strain of threads under tension, we tenon our hardwood dowels and press them securely into the frame.
4 1/2 Yard Warping Board: Made of natural hard maple, beech or similar beautiful hardwood. Comes with two pieces with 5 dowels, one piece with 2 dowels, and one piece with no dowels. The dowels/pegs stick out 5-3/8" from the wood base. The dimensions when set up are: ~21-3/8” x ~19-1/8”.
