This is the exact same colorway as the DHG 19 micron merino multi, only this has the added softness and subtle bling of silk. 70% merino - their already supersoft and fine 19 micron and 30% tussah silk. Most brands that blend the merino/silk have 80% merino and only 20% silk and their merino is typically not as soft as this 19 micron. Smokey, berry colored hues along with some smokey pastel colors such as baby pink and blush make up this beautifully blended multi-colored roving of "next to skin" ultrasoft merino from DHG Fiber. Subtle light - medium pinks and a couple dark shades of maroons are not in the least overwhelming but beautifully understated and rustic in their presentation. This lovely fiber is created by Dying House Gallery, and their fiber meets Global Organic Standards ane EMAS Standards. This fiber presentation is made up of 70% extra fine merino wool from both Australia and South America and 30% tussah silk from China. As always, all the materials are carefully selected to ensure constant quality over time. All merino wool lots are MULESING FREE. The dyeing complies with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and is done in our dyeinghouse which is GOTS 5.0 and GRS certified.
