Ashland Bay's newest line of superfine merino (19.5 micron) is a stunning blend of multis, using only one color group (or two similar) in each blend. Ginger is composed of all their light to bright yellows and oranges in a very fine striping - from their pastel Yellow, Lemon and gold, to their Burnt Orange and bright Spice. The striping is so fine in fact, that you barely notice all the different shades unless you look really close. It just looks like a beautiful copper/gold from a few feet away, but the various shades give it a wonderful brightness and depth. Next to skin soft, this merino is excellent for spinning, wet and nuno felting as well as needle felting. First picture is Ashland Bay's own.
