This is a great bargain, courtesy of one of Ashland Bay's special offerings. It's a silky, lustrous and strong wool. It is 35 micron and 6.5 inch staple length though It feels much softer than the micron would imply. A soothing medium silver gray color, made up of several shades, it is excellent for spinning, blending and plying. A little "weightier" than the average wool so it will have a nice drape to it. The great staple length is a real bonus for new spinners!
