The Schacht Mini Loom: This handy weaving kit includes everything you need to weave. The Mini Loom is made of durable plastic and is easy to thread. Two shuttles, a beater and a weaving needle are included in the kit along with enough yarn to weave a project. Complete instructions with clear line drawings provide all the necessary information for setting up the loom and weaving. Instructions are provided for two projects.
STICK SHUTTLES are typically used for simple looms like the popular Cricket and SampleIt Looms. Excellent for use with the mini looms (shown in pictures with the Schacht Mini Loom). Generally, you want to choose a shuttle that is approximately the width of your weaving. No winding equipment is required. This plastic shuttle measures 7" X 1".
PLASTIC BEATER COMB is sized to be perfect for the small looms like the Schacht Mini Loom or Zoom Loom.
PLASTIC WEAVING NEEDLE — Length is 6" (15 cm). This needle is for use with looms or open weave fabric. It is flexible and safe and has a large eye that makes it easy to weave wall hangings, placemats, scarves, etc. Buy Package of 3 or 6.
STEEL WEAVING NEEDLE - Length is approximately 2 1/4" This tapestry needle is for fine medium yarns. Package of 3 or 6.
SCHACHT TAPESTRY NEEDLES are made of stainless steel and come in 3" & 6" lengths. Sold in pair or pack of 5.
Last picture is of 3 Stainless Steel Weaving Needles. Made in England. Top of the three is flat/straight raffia style needle (can also be used as a flat bodkin for threading such as ribbon or elastic). Middle is a bent ended/angled weaving needle or raffia wire with eye, and Bottom: Flat Bent end/angled Raffia style Needle. This set of three is also available and ships for the same cost.
