Royal Blue base color reflecting deep jewels of Blue, Teal and rich Purple. This is a fantastic custom color but my camera can't quite get it. I must have taken a dozen pictures and none are correct. You really have to look in the pictures for the Lilac and Teal, but it is very apparent in the actual Angelina. A super pretty custom color. The Royal Blue is deep and more saturated than it looks in the first two pics. The third and fourth pictures are best representative of that Royal Blue base. Angelina is a very unique fiber, both light reflective and light refractive. A fantastic embellishment fiber, adding depth, dimension, visible "texture" as well as bling. You'll frequently see it mixed in with yarn, felting, art batts and the like. For spinning or making art batts (or roulags), just a few fibers do a lot! Blended with other fibres in amounts as small as 2%, it gives sparkle and highlight to your projects, whether it's yarn, batts or felt. You can just "add a tad" while spinning singles or sprinkle a bit into your carder or blending board to liven up any color mix. To felt, simply lay it on top of your project or between your wool and the wool will tack it down. If layering between the wool, you'll want just a thin over-layer of wool so that you don't hide the wonderful sparkle and brightness of the Angelina. My camera doesn't pick up the subdued accents in this beautiful fiber and makes it look too one dimensional.
