Texsolv heddles and cord are highly regarded by weavers. The heddles are light weight with a wide variety of lengths available to fit most looms. The cord is strong and with equally spaced ‘eyes’ or ‘button holes’ obtaining consistent lengths is a snap. These equally spaced holes in the cord make the adjustment not only quick, but accurate and knotless. Heddles are typically measured from the center of the first "eye" to the center of the last (ie; the 8" black tied heddles will measure closer to 9" from end to end but 8" from center of end eye to center of other end eye). Many of the loom listed are uncommon looms and listed for reference. If uncertain as to which heddles to choose, check your loom's manual or contact the manufacturer.
Using Texsolv heddles is a complete solution for all loom types, even Inkle Looms as can be seen in picture #8 (these are the 8 5/8"/green heddles used on the Schacht Inkle Loom). The three parts are: a unique heddles system with machine made heddles in polyester, a complete tie up system of polyester loop cords, and a peg locking system. Using Texsolv heddles is a well tested solution and is used all over the world. Many of the world’s loom manufacturer have Texsolv heddles as standard parts in their looms. Texsolv solutions are popular in the silk hand weaving industry in Asia, where low friction and rapid loom setup is essential. It saves a lot of time and minimize problems for the weavers, which increases production.
The heddles are easily set up and organized on the loom shafts. They are bundled in a continuing row so they will not be tangled up. The heddles are joined but can easily be separated if necessary, e.g. if a heddle needs to be removed or replaced. Please note when buying and installing heddles: Do not remove your twist ties until the texsolv heddles are on the heddle bars (as shown in the last picture). This keeps your heddles separated and untangled. We cannot take returns on tangled heddles that have been separated before finding out they don't fit your loom. Please check them against your loom FIRST.
Tapestry Heddles: Specially made in Sweden from the same Texsolv used to make all non-metal heddles for floor looms, these one-eye tapestry heddles are the ones used and sold by Mirrix and come in a roll of 100. Heddles for Arras looms are different and will be listed in the variants as "Arras 4" Tapestry Heddles" in the options. They are strong, reusable, easy to use and are good at almost any sett on the loom because they are thin. For weaving past 18 dents per inch we recommend making your own thinner heddles. These are the only pre-made heddles you can buy that work on the Mirrix Loom if you choose not to make your own.. To separate heddles from the strand, cut in the center of the small hole between each heddle.
Texsolv Straight or Anchor Pegs: Texsolv peg lock system consists of two types of pegs, Straight pegs and Anchor pegs. Used where cords have to be easily adjusted in height or where anchor pegs cannot be used, the straight peg system can be adjusted, and lock the tie up cord quickly and easily. They are strong and durable and can withstand heavy loads.

Choose White, Black, Orange, Yellow or Blue. The Texsolv system of harness and treadle tie-up is so versatile it has the answer for any tie-up problem. The polyester loop cord is a continuous string of ” button holes” which can be threaded in and around various loom pieces and secured with either of the two styles of pegs: arrow or anchor. Most tie-ups require only the light loop cord as it has a breaking strength of 180 pounds! For the really heavy loads of counter balance rollers or warp beam aprons you may prefer heavier cord. Choose from drop down box at upper right.
