All Spinolution wheels are made a furniture grade ply, to resist warping as can be a worry with solid woods in various climates. Because this is ply, there are occasional irregularities in the wheel finish - not at all impacting it's spectacular performance.
The Echo has state of the art engineering in a lightweight, affordable studio wheel design. If you are learning to spin, have a shop, or teach spinning - this is a perfect wheel for your collection.
Simple enough for the novice spinner to learn and grow on and engineered for the most seasoned spinners to enjoy.
As with most of their wheel models, Spinolution offers a great savings on their "Package Deal" which includes all the tools and accessories you need for a complete fiber arts studio. Includes 2 Flyer setups, 3 bobbins each size, orifice hooks & tubes each size, skein winder, and lazy kate):
4oz + 16 oz (Traditional Yarn Package)
4oz Accelerated + 8 oz (Fine Yarn Package)
8oz + 16 oz (Bulky Yarn Package)
16oz + 32 oz (Art Yarn Package)
Choose your model/upgrades from Drop-Down box at upper right.
Due to it's lightweight base, the Echo is not compatible with the 64 oz upgrade, as it would make the wheel top heavy and less balanced. If you would like a larger setup, it is available on the MACH III, Hopper, or Firefly.
The wheels' appearance can differ from what is shown because the Mike, the designer, is always improving on his design.

A word about Spinolution products:
Spinolution products are made plywood, rather than solid wood. For this reason, their wheels will not warp regardless of the climate. SpinOlution prioritizes ergonomics, durability, low maintenance upkeep, and function over aesthetics. There will likely be blemishes or splintered areas on your wheel, which will not affect its functionality. It's common to have a raw edge in the layering of the wood because of the nature of how the wood is manufactured (in different directions as is the nature of plywood - a durability over aesthetic decision that SpinOlution has made). They're may be irregular seams where parts come together - this is the primary manufacturing anomaly. SpinOlution products are not finished using the same finish, machinery, or material as other manufacturers. However, it does not impair the function of the product (it still be assembled and used as advertised) so that is why it passed inspection at the Spinolution facility. It's up to the customer to decide what matters most to them when they are investing in a wheel. And there's no wrong answer. Should you decide to return your wheel within the 30 day period to get a refund, you will pay to ship the product back to Spinolution and you will be refunded all but what they product cost to ship to you.
