Reeds are available for differing yarns/threads. The 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, reeds feature the wide eye for novelty yarns. 12.5 and 15 DPI Reeds have a narrow eye for finer yarns. USPS is imposing a length surcharge of $15, on top of weight for these packages. That's why the shipping is so high. It's a good opportunity to stock up on pickup/lease sticks, shuttles, etc.. since the base shipping is so high and the surcharge is imposed only once on the package. I will refund on the other items' ship charge over the actual weight and first surcharge.
